“To plunder, to slaughter, to steal, these things they misname ‘empire’; and where they make a wasteland, they call it peace” – Tacitus, Agricola

A forest leveled, a river dredged barren, a farm bombed to the ground, a mountain inverted into a pit mine. These are just some of the marks that imperialist powers have stamped on their maps of conquest. They come for raw materials, cheap labor, strategic positioning to keep contending empires in check, perhaps a holiday while they’re at it. All welcomed and legitimized by an unbroken line of regimes pimping our nation to the global ruling class. All enforced by state machinery, guns aimed at their own countrymen; so eager to serve.
