The exhibition is a narration of an alternative feminine mythology—a feminist historiography. Using found images of goddesses, flora and fauna, celestial bodies, parts of and objects from books, Pinky Ibarra Urmaza locates and situates women in myths, folktales, and legends. In this exploration, she connects to the multitude of chronicles of women that challenge history written primarily for men whether in art, religion, language, politics and the sciences.
