Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen at The National Gallery of Denmark: SMK

September 1, 2018

“ART 2030 is happy to announce that the performance ‘Tow with the Flow’ (2018) by Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen will show at SMK (The National Gallery) September 1st.

Taking the form of a sculptural performance, the work shines a critical light on the Western World’s over-consumption, with a particular focus on the UN Global Goals no. 4: Quality Education, and 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

For ‘Tow with the Flow’ the artist and ART 2030 have partnered with the award-winning, Scandinavian design studio Sur le chemin to design 17 “all-in-one” costumes inspired by the Global Goals.

Working closely with High School students as co-creators, and musician Karolina Leedo, ‘Tow with the Flow’ brings attention to the textile industry, and the many layers of production that precedes our clothes. ”
