She studied Visual Arts at Sydney College of Arts, University of Sydney and Kunstakademie in Dusseldorf, Germany.  From 1990 she worked as lecturer in Visual Arts in various Australian Universities until her retirement as Senior Lecturer in 2008 from University of Western Sydney.

Her first solo exhibit was held in Artspace in Sydney in 1987. To date, she has had 35 individual exhibitions and was included in many curated group exhibitions In Europe, The Philippines and Sydney. In Sydney she is represented by Sarah Cottier Gallery, Paddington, NSW.

MANUEL OCAMPO (b.1965), lives and works in Quezon City, Philippines

He is known for his frequent and strategic stylistic drifts in response to new contexts and subject matter. His shows are often constructed around contradictory tendencies, elaborating discrepancies between what a painting appears to be and how it behaves in relation to the structures that legitimate its appearance. He always embraces sudden shifts of style and emphasis. He paints, but doubt is created as to whether any particular medium is the solution

GERARDO TAN obtained his BFA and MFA degrees in Painting at the University of the Philippines and the University of New York at Buffalo, respectively.

His works were featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions here and abroad in Germany, Korea, Australia, USA, and Japan. He will be representing the Philippine Pavilion at this year’s Venice Biennale.

Gerardo Tan was conferred the 13 Artists Award by the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1988. His other distinctions include the Fulbright-Hays Grant to undertake his Masters in Fine Arts at SUNY Buffalo (1990-92) and the Barbara Schuller’s Art Associates Award in Buffalo, NY (1992).
