Troy Ignacio’s portraits and depictions of objects layer intermittent memory and information flow of contemporary channels of media in a repetitive style. He explores and takes from the way information moves and shapes itself in the mental landscape through the abstraction of particular subjects. His work compels us to attend to a whole mass of units – beckoning us to recognize our process of reading and ultimately navigating the disjointed landscape of memory.
